Subjects Taught
Indian Education

In 2010, I completed an Education Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama. I also hold a Master's in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Science) both of which I received from the University of Mobile.  An interesting piece of information that most people do not know about me is that I also hold a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Bishop State Community College.  My original plans did not include a career in education.  However, I feel that God had a plan for me at Calcedeaver and I am thankful to work at the best school in Mobile County.

Currently, I am employed as the Native American Interpreter at Calcedeaver Elementary.  I have been in this position since 2001.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching the students of Calcedeaver about Native American culture, language, dance, and history.  Additionally, I am passionate about the Native American Mentoring Program which allows me to follow our Native students throughout middle and high school to ensure that they graduate and attend college, if they desire. I am grateful that our feeder pattern schools, Lott Middle and Citronelle High, welcome me each week.  I am happily married to Mr. Ernest Williams and we have 4 amazing children: Austin, Tyler, Dylan, and Dakota.  We reside in Citronelle, AL.
